What can we say about our beloved Loose Seal? Well... she was cheap, but she's starting to make up for that in repairs. We believe in Loose Seal's potential. She's a 1980 Camper Nicholson 345 and was one of only 25 hulls built. Several of the 345s were in the tragic 1979 Fastnet Race and all survived, despite numerous knockdowns. Her "to-do" list is as long as her 6' draft, but that's okay. All the better to learn her from the ground up.
After 9 months of cruising, we can say without reservation that Loose Seal has given us the adventure of a lifetime. From crazy twists and turns in the ICW to otherworldly blue waters in the Bahamas to, Loose Seal has kept us afloat and always ready for the next adventure.
